TTouch Confidence Course

  • Tellington TTouch® and Health Consult Skype Video Session

T his 1.5-hour session is the first of a four-part series of Tellington TTouch Skype video sessions to help your dog feel calmer and more balanced physically, mentally and emotionally. I always begin the first session with a health consult, sharing all I know to help maintain a happy and healthy dog.
The first session is for me to also learn all you want me to know about your dog, your goals for your dog and what you would most like to achieve or know. You can let me know anything that you didn’t share in our initial phone consult and ask any questions you may have.
Then I will share all the general health information I have learned to help keep a dog healthy and balanced. My journey of learning many ingredients that go into helping a dog thrive began when my first dog and great teacher Socrates came into my life back in 1997.
At the end of the first session, I will teach at least two TTouches to leave you with and for you to practice on your dog until our next session.
I will teach you a variety of other TTouches in future sessions, along with creating a Tellington TTouch wrap for your dog to help calm your dog’s nervous system. You will have to purchase several non-adhesive ace bandages that we can work with during the session.
I will also talk about the Tellington TTouch confidence course, how you can set it up and guide your dog through it to boost his confidence using a labyrinth and different textures and objects for your dog to navigate while on lead and walking beside you.
Using either my own dog or a stuffed dog, I will show you exactly what to do and watch you do what I have taught and make suggestions and modifications to improve the work you are doing in real time on your dog.
I will also talk about recommended equipment such as harnesses and leads that have two points of contact on them and products such as the Thundershirt® to help calm your dog’s central nervous system.
  • Single Tellington TTouch® Skype Video Session

This 1.5-hour Skype video session is designed to familiarize you with the philosophy of Tellington TTouch and to teach you how to do some Tellington TTouches that include circular touches, slides and lifts. These will all help your pet feel better and also  create a deeper bond between you and your pet.

In this session, depending on your pet’s needs, I will select a minimum of four touches to help your dog or cat feel better. Working on different parts of your dog or cat’s body from ears, mouth and tail to the back, belly and legs, you will learn different ways of relaxing your pet and helping your pet get used to new experiences.
