Resources for You during COVID-19 Pandemic – Part 2
This decade has ushered in a brand new paradigm that is in such sharp contrast to the world we once knew and inhabited. So much has changed so drastically and dramatically. The COVID-19 crisis truly stopped everything in its tracks. Isolation, quarantine and telecommuting for most have become the new normal.
Masks of all colors, shapes and sizes and disposal gloves are the latest couture. Hand-shaking and kissing are out. Waving and smiling from at least six feet away is definitely in. Attending big sports events, live concerts, theatrical events or even going out to the movies are all out. Taking walks around your neighborhood and shopping with your mask and gloves on are both very in. Going to the office is out. Telecommuting and using Zoom and Microsoft Teams to connect with co-workers are in.

I sadly read about a doctor who worked in a New York City hospital. Practicing emergency medicine, she was working round-the-clock shifts to help COVID-19 patients. Unfortunately, she wound up contracting the virus.
Then while convalescing in Florida at her sister’s home, she committed suicide. We have not even begun to assess the emotional and psychological damage done to those heroes in hospitals who have witnessed so much and who have volunteered to be the last voice or touch that someone might ever hear or feel.
There have also been ongoing reports of shortages of medical masks, gloves, outer gear, ventilators and even aspirin.
And so it goes in cities and towns across our country. Isolating with family and loved ones is the new normal and no one knows how long it will last. Nor can anyone predict exactly what will happen in the future or whether the virus will ramp up again after businesses begin opening up and people become less vigilant as the number of those affected decreases.
Patients nationwide have been struggling with COVID-19 and its insidious symptoms. Some on ventilators are succumbing to the havoc it has wreaked on their previously healthy lungs. There has been news of exhausted doctors, nurses, medical technicians, ER staff, hospital administrators and other personnel all struggling to keep up with the brutal pace of the spread of this sometimes fatal virus. Those working very long hours in hospitals, emergency rooms and intensive care units, some with just a minimum of protective equipment, have been trying their noble best to help those who have contracted this potent virus.

Some Bright Pockets of Light amid the Darkness of the Pandemic
Amidst all this negative news, there have been so many pockets of light, so much hope and so much positivity. People in some neighborhoods around the world have gathered in the evenings on their balconies and front porches to sing and dance together.
Some have taken to honking horns or making noise with pots and pans to show their appreciation for the medical staffs helping those afflicted with the virus. There has also been an outpouring of love and food from foodbanks across the country. A number of humanitarians have donated lunches to the medical staffs of their local hospitals, helping hospital staff members, restaurant owners and restaurant employees too.
There have been many wonderful “drive-by” birthday events instead of traditional birthday parties. Here are two sweet examples of this trend. One is of a young girl seated in a chair watching cars parade by in honor of her birthday. Like a little princess being hailed by her fans, she is very composed, but clearly very delighted. The other video shows a very emotional teen celebrating her fifteenth birthday out on her front lawn with her family, standing there to greet her birthday visitors passing by in their cars. One of those who came by was a very good friend. The two had a tearful reunion. I hope these two videos make you smile.
In times of strife and strain, I go within and seek guidance from above. Drawn to listen to a number of spiritual speakers and teachers, I want to know what they are thinking about all that has happened. How are they seeing this new reality?
I would like to share with you some of the inspirational talks and other material I have been watching, listening to and reading these past few weeks. The wisdom of those I listen to helps buoy my own courage and strength. What they share also helps me better navigate the terrain of my own divine destiny.
Resources for You
Resource No. 1: Pastor Joel Osteen – Lakewood Church
If you want to be uplifted and inspired, Pastor Joel Osteen can easily do that. I am a big fan of his and listen to his sermons at least once a week. Occasionally I go to YouTube and find a sermon on a topic that speaks to my heart on that day. The truth is they are all wonderful.
As an interfaith angel minister, I am so incredibly impressed with both the volume and quality of sermons he broadcasts on television, the internet and on Sirius XM radio every day. It is quite miraculous. His wife Victoria and his son Jonathan sometimes share their lovely heartfelt wisdom too.
When the COVID-19 crisis was in full force and isolation was mandated, a very grounded, centered and assured pastor Joel Osteen first stood on the stage with some staff in the audience. Since then, he has been a lone, but very powerful figure on an empty stage in a gigantic arena with no parishioners there to acknowledge, affirm and applaud his message.
He is still standing strong in his unshakable faith in the Lord. Telling his audience, now virtual attendees, that God is on the throne guiding all, he maintains that our divine destiny cannot be blocked. No matter what is going on, Pastor Joel Osteen’s faith is always so strong. He will strongly affirm that all is well and that you are always a beloved child of the most high God.

Resource No. 2: The Collective Consciousness of Abraham Hicks as channeled by Esther Hicks
I listen regularly to Esther Hicks channeling the great wisdom of the collective consciousness called Abraham. Wise, compassionate, logical, and humorous, Abraham understands human beings and their plight. Abraham also understands the “laws” of the Universe, especially the “Law of Attraction.”
This collective of advanced beings channels Source energy and wisdom. It teaches about how our thoughts and feelings create our reality. Those thoughts and feelings, whether positive or negative, attract more of the same into our lives. Abraham champions humanity and the spirits of those seeking wisdom to live richer, more fulfilling lives. “Joy is the key,” Abraham often affirms.
Even in the midst of challenges, Abraham encourages us all to focus on what is good in our lives. Like corks floating on the water, Abraham maintains that even if our spirits are pushed down with challenges and tragedies, like corks that have been forced down under the water, they cannot but eventually pop back up. It is our nature to do that as well because our spirits are indomitable and will naturally rise back up to the top again.
Abraham often says to those who come seeking answers to their questions, “We love you so much,” right before pointing out how and why we keep returning to the dramas and traumas of our lives. This brilliance that is Abraham wants us to relax and allow and gain even more momentum when our thoughts are positive. We are asked to pause, meditate or shift when we start to think negatively.
“All is always working out for you,” is another statement Abraham often shares. Even in the contrast, there is so much good, as there is in this Coronavirus pandemic. When the negative shows up, it is revealing what we don’t want. It allows us to set bigger and better intentions for exactly what we do want. What Abraham calls our “vortex” begins to fill with all the good that we can attract into our lives if we remain positive and stay in our joy.
Abraham NOW – March 21, 2020
Esther Hicks sits alone without her usual very large audience and channels the wisdom of Abraham who addresses what we are all feeling and going through with the global spread of COVID-19 and the new restrictions for gatherings across the country.
This talk below was done at a time prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. In it, Abraham addresses the issue of natural disasters that affect the world. What Abraham shares can easily translate to what we have been experiencing during the pandemic.
How Source Sees Natural Disasters
Resource No. 3: Dr. Joe Dispenza
As I shared in the previous blog post on the COVID-19 crisis, my husband and I recently attended Dr. Joe Dispenza’s advanced week-long retreat in Indian Wells, CA. He is the author of a number of books, including You are the Placebo: Making Your Mind Matter and Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One. The latest one is Becoming Supernatural: How Common People Are Doing the Uncommon.
He also creates many different meditations and has done a lot of research on how the brain responds to these meditations. He is always aiming to become “no one, nowhere and in no time.” In other words, he is seeking to become pure consciousness where all is one. When you reach that state of letting go of everything you know, you become a blank slate. When you go into the darkness of the void, you can then merge with Source and have what Dr. Joe calls a “gamma” brain wave experience.
From that zero point field where all miracles are possible, amazing events and synchronicities can begin to occur. It is Dr. Joe’s wish for all of us to break the habit of being ourselves so we can experience something new and different, something much better.
He encourages meditating every day for at least an hour. Our same daily routines and same people we see and talk to lock us into the same dramas, thoughts, beliefs and habits. When in quarantine, if you don’t have small children around who are demanding your attention, you can schedule to meditate every day and see if the unexpected and miraculous begins to occur in your life. You can also set the intention to attract abundance and miracles into your life.
During the retreat, Dr. Joe told us about a team leader who owned a business. One of his clients was happy with his work and asked him for his bank account number because he wanted to show his appreciation by electronically transferring a bonus into his account. The team leader did so and the next day casually looked at his bank account. What he saw there was more than he ever would have expected. In his account in black and white was a deposit for more than $500,000. Miracles are always possible.
Dr. Joe shared another story of how he used to take a blanket and put it over himself as his children played around him. They knew not to disturb him or he wouldn’t be a happy camper. If they let him meditate, they would get a very positive and refreshed father. So they would often encourage him to meditate.
I invite you to check out his website, www.drjoedispenza.com. He is an extraordinary teacher, scientist and researcher who studied neuroscience and was a former chiropractor. His work on using the mind to heal the body first began when he cured his own body following a very serious spinal injury. There are many testimonials on the internet of people who have had amazing healings by doing his meditations. He understands quantum physics and is on the leading edge of creating a pathway through meditation for those in need of healing to get biological upgrades to their bodies and spirits when their brains go into a gamma state.
They are having mystical experiences and almost have no words for what they have felt. There are many amazing testimonials of radical healings that you can find both on the internet and on his website.
Recently, Dr. Joe wanted to spread more love in the world, so he created something called GOLOVE20 that involves emailing people and sending them your love. Here is an explanation of it that appeared in one of his Facebook posts:
“Dr. Joe has GOLOV-20 and invites you to spread love in your community! Here is the meditation to send to those who you want to “affect!”
Music composed and produced by: Barry Goldstein
Instructions here: https://www.facebook.com/DrJoeDispenzaOfficialNewsFanPage/videos/681482636002689/
Dear (fill in the name of the person you love),
I have been infected by Dr. Joe’s love bug, GOLOV-20… (then you write what you love about that person) …Ends with…”In a moment, I will be taking you into my heart while doing a special meditation with the intention for you to feel the love I feel for you. Be open to receive!
It’s called GOLOV-20 and it’s the love bug that transcends 3D space and time.
Next it’s your turn to give it to someone else.
It’s your job to send the same instructions and your private message (audio, video or text) to someone you love and contribute to a new network of love.
Go to this link https://www.facebook.com/DrJoeDispenzaOfficialNewsFanPage/videos/2481603955463136/ and follow Dr Joe’s guidance for the special meditation!
I wish you all the side effects of #GOLOV20. What you give, you will receive.”

Thank you too for teaching the world about the importance of meditation where you will have the best results and most synchronicities when you become no one, no thing, and you will be no place and in no time.
Resource No. 4: Patricia Cota-Robles
Patricia Cota-Robles, who is based in Tucson, Arizona, is co-founder and president of the nonprofit, educational organization Era of Peace that sponsors her work and the Annual World Congress on Illumination. A marriage and family counselor for 20 years, she now shares the highly esoteric information she has been receiving from what she calls “our Father-Mother God and the Company of Heaven.” Patricia sends out a video blog or “vlog” every week, sharing wisdom and prayers. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Patricia offered her free seminars in different cities across the United States titled, “You Are Ready and the Time Is Now!“
Patricia says that “this sacred knowledge” she is sharing “clearly reveals what she calls the ‘Bigger Picture’ of events unfolding on Earth at this time.” She affirms that “this heart-based perspective is designed to enlighten humanity by giving all of us greater insight, encouragement, clarity and understanding as we progress through these wondrous but often challenging times on Earth.”
This is how she describes her philosophy:
“Every person is precious and Divine, regardless of how far his or her behavior patterns and life experiences may be from reflecting that Truth. We are not the victims of our lives. We are the co-creators of our lives. We have a choice, and we have the ability to transform our lives into what we want them to be. The time for us to do so is now!”

There is a rich array of wisdom and information on her Era of Peace website. Click here to access her many vlogs. Vlog 160 is titled, “Is There a Greater Purpose for What is Happening?” Vlog 165 is titled, “Important Opportunities for May 2020.”
My husband and I have attended two of her live seminars in San Diego, CA. She attracts a very large audience. At the end, when people want to talk to her or have her sign their books, she is extremely accessible and patient. She waits until the last person on line has had a chance to talk to her. Posing for pictures with attendees, she is very humble for someone who has so much advanced wisdom channeled from the “Company of Heaven.”
Here are some vlogs she has produced about the recent pandemic:
Resource No. 5: Gregg Braden
A five-time “New York Times” best-selling author and scientist, Gregg Braden is also an international educator. Here are some blog posts she has written about COVID-19:
Staying at Home
My best hope is that when you are “staying at home” to protect yourself and your family and to help flatten the curve of this virus, you take some time out for yourself. It’s a good time to listen to spiritual teachers share their wisdom. It’s also a good time to meditate, go within and possibly optimize your tasks and schedule.
Step out of any routinized habits and free yourself mentally and emotionally from the same ways of thinking about issues in your life. In some ways this virus has been a beautiful blessing. We all have been given permission to slow down and reflect on our lives.

This may be a pivotal point in the lives of many people when they have finally been given the chance to step off the merry-go-round of their lives and have a look around at the landscape around them. It is a time when they can question and ask themselves, “Is this what I want? Is this the way I’d like to continue living my life? What can I do to make my life better and the lives of those I love? How can I get more clarity? How can I begin to shift and make some significant changes in my life?”
